WHAT IS CELLULITE?
Cellulite is a common term used to describe superficial pockets
of trapped fat, which causes the surface of the skin to dimple
or pucker and look lumpy. Common areas where cellulite is found
are the thighs, buttocks & abdomen. Cellulite appears in 90%
of post-adolescent women. It effects overweight,
normal and thin women.
WHICH AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Our devices treat the abdomen including flanks (love handles), thighs (inner and outer), buttocks, calves, knees and arms, pectoral muscles in women, & men's chest, stomach & flanks.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENTS LAST & HOW OFTEN CAN A CLIENT BE TREATED?
A treatment lasts around 20 to 50 mins (depending on how many devices we use). Clients can be treated every 48 hours.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED BEFORE RESULTS ARE VISIBLE?
Although results vary for each individual, a measurable result will be achieved after the first session. Most people obtain a visual result after 3 to five sessions. Optimal results can be achieved when the treatment is coupled with physical activity and a healthy eating plan.
HOW MUCH DOWN TIME DOES THE TREATMENT REQUIRE?
There is no down time after treatment. Normal activities can be resumed immediately.
ARE THE RESULTS PERMANENT?
Yes, circumference fat will not return if weight is kept stable. Cellulite might re-appear but it will take years for the body to accumulate it again.
DOES THE TREATMENT HURT?
No. The Sono 30 generates a warm sensation & is considered pleasant by most patients. The other devices can be quiet pleasant.
DOES THE TREATMENT HAVE SIDE EFFECTS?
Patients have stated that there has been no post treatment pain or discomfort. There are numerous positive side effects, such as relieving muscle soreness & bowl pressure, fading of stretch marks and toning of the skin.
